"It's a renovated older motel, very clean, no carpets!! Which I love. Bathtub had a chip, but otherwise very nice, clean , and good setup. The beds were very comfortable and firm, which I love too. Relatively thin blanket, if I would not have brought my own blanket I might have been a bit on the cool side. Room was kept at 20 degrees Celsius, warm enough, but not too warm. The checkin was warm and friendly, and the parking lot nice and secure. It was easy to find. We arrived when it was already dark. I bet it has a nice view over the River and bridge at daylight. I am writing this review early in the morning, so still dark. I would definitely stay here again when I would look for a place in Nelson. Again I was very impressed by the cleanliness!! Would definitely recommend this motel when you want to look for a simple basic but comfortable clean place to stay . "

"We had an amazing stay in Nelson! The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The view was absolutely incredible — waking up to the mountains and lake each morning was unreal. It was peaceful, private, and just a short drive to town. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot — highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!"
