"I really loved the style and décor of this hotel. Everything was very clean, well maintained, and the room itself was lovely and comfortable. Prior to our arrival, we were informed that there was no on-site parking, which was appreciated as it allowed us to plan ahead and make use of the loading bay for unloading.
Unfortunately, the arrival experience could have been better. My friend went to get a trolley, but no staff offered assistance while she struggled to hold doors open and maneuver it through the hotel. She was also left waiting at the front desk for some time before anyone attended to her while I went to park the car.
The lack of parking is definitely a drawback. The nearby garage only covers parking until 7:00 a.m., meaning you either have to pay for two nights or get up early to move your vehicle, which isn't very convenient.
That said, there were plenty of positives. The downstairs restaurant was extremely convenient, the food was delicious, and the restaurant staff were fantastic throughout our stay. I also appreciated the thoughtful doggy treat bag provided for my dog with our room —it was a lovely touch.
One improvement I'd suggest would be installing smart TVs that allow guests to cast or stream content from their phones, making it easier to access apps like Netflix and other streaming services.
Overall, despite a few frustrations with parking and the arrival experience, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning."
