"Great hotel, colorful with a nice decoration and a garden right on the lake. A great place to stop for a night ot two if you are on your way to/from Oslo and you want a peacful place. The room is cozy and simple, good value for what we paid. There is also a glamping option in the hotel which looked super nice.
We also ate dinner in the hotel’s restaurant and really enjoyed it. Really sorry we could not stay more than one night cause this was a true relaxation. Recommended!"

"I don't usually make reviews due to lack of time, but this hosting deserves it. I was surprised by such cleanliness of the hotel. It is an old (historic) hotel, but the facilities are absolutely impeccable. At the entrance before going to the rooms, there is a super cozy room, a kind of mini museum. Everything INCREDIBLY preserved and clean, very clean! A smell of cleanliness, smell of luxury!
