Badalona Beach

Barcelona has probably one of the best urban beaches in the whole world. While the most popular one, Barceloneta, is overcrowded and under par, it only takes a short train/metro ride to find out top-of-the-notch Mediterranean beaches.
Head to Badalona (15-min ride in purple line) for a taste of authentic summer feeling. If you are willing to go a bit farther take the Rodalies train. But do your best to escape from Barceloneta!
