"Beautiful historic building in great condition. The hotel manager called us ahead of time to check on our ETA, and provided us with instructions for our check in after hours. The hotel has its own parking area within own premises. The room was very nice, clean and with a roomy bathroom. "It was a very pleasant stay. The front desk staff were very reserved, and we didn't get the impression that they were happy to see us arrive. The pool and sauna area are very nice. However, the hot tub wasn't working, unfortunately, and many children were swimming around wildly without supervision. Breakfast and dinner with table service at the Kurhaus were excellent. Unfortunately, the beach was very unkempt."

Hotel Am Hopfenmarkt

Hotel Am Hopfenmarkt

8/10 Good
"We stayed one night. Very clean. The room was a bit small, but was fine. Location was very good. Only issue was the check in. It was very complicated. My wife and I traveled a long way and were a bit tired. The hotel management did send me a message saying that the reception office was not located at the same location as the rooms. I had trouble finding the reception desk and then finding our room afterwards. Our room was not in the main building. They were individual entrances mixed within another establishment. Confusing when you don’t speak the native language and are tired from a long day’s journey. The receptionist gave me a map of where the room was in the facility, but being tired and somewhat frazzled I had difficulty finding our room. They had 3 people working in the reception office. One of them should have guided us to our room. It would have taken about 2 minutes, but they handed me the keys and a map saying make a right turn and another right turn and your room is there. A good location with a funky layout. Overall a good place with that one complaint."
