"Beautiful historic hotel . Rooms could do with electric outlets next to the beds and bathrooms could be updated. The service is bit too formal- when we requested a dinner reservation we could not get the time we wanted and when we arrived a half hour after our requested time there were only two tables taken- it was empty. "Amazing place great room, two swimming pools good restaurant,if slightly limited menu but friendly staff Ideal for a trip to Evora which is about 15 miles away with good parking just outside town.also not far from a megalithica worth a vist but it is a long hike up the hill to see it."

Excellent breakfast, easy registration and checkout added to our satisfaction. But that maze of hallways pulls our review down a notch."
