"Excellent hotel in a great location, 8 mins walk from the rail station and only 10 mins to the fabulous old town. The hotel is in a traditional style in very good condition and spotlessly clean. The room was quiet, spacious and had great air conditioning- a must in the June 35*C heat of Bologna! We took advantage of the €20 room credit and took evening meal in the restaurant. Both food and service was again excellent. Having only stayed for one night we left our bags with the hotel concierge to further explore Bologna after Check out. I would not hesitate to stay at the Royal Carlton if again in Bologna."

"The air conditioning worked well, which was a first for us in our adventures around Italy. They allowed us to check in early which we greatly appreciated!!! The check in was quick. The room was clean save the wrench in the shower, which was eventually removed. They called a taxi for us to take us to the airport, which was great. I was personally disappointed that the airport shuttle wasn’t available, but I will know for the future to reserve the airport shuttle at least 2 weeks in advance with them. Cold water was provided at the reception, which is also rare in Italy. It was pretty quiet, I was woken twice by noise outside and then in the hallway, but with ear plugs it was just fine."

"La habitación era amplia, bien iluminada, buena ropa de cama y toallas; hay refrigerador y pava eléctrica. El personal de recepción y desayunador es amable. Nuestro inconveniente fue con el aire acondicionado que dejó de funcionar y nos cambiaron de habitación. En los pasillos hay dispenser de agua fría y la TV está provista de YouTube más Netflix. El desayuno es muy bueno, solo que si vas luego de las nueve la reposición se hace esperar. Tiene una piscina inmensa, la estaban equipando con mobiliario nuevo, aunque ya existían reposeras y sombrillas. El personal de salvataje o encargado de esa área no fue agradable, permanentemente recordándoles a los asistentes el horario de cierre. Tiene parking dentro de la propiedad."

Bologna'yı üs olarak kullanıp Verona, Padova, Ravenna, Modena, Sirmione'ye trenle günübirlik gitmek isteyenler için de harika bir konumu var. Otelin kapısından çıktığınızda tren istasyonu tam karşıda. Yaya geçidinden karşıya geçer geçmez istasyona geliyorsunuz. Bologna'da taksi çevirmek zor. Taksi durağı da hemen istasyonun önünde. Otobüs durağı mı? O da otelin tam önünde. Otele gelince, odalar büyük ve temiz. Pencerler dışarıdaki sesi olağanüstü iyi kesiyor. Oda siz çıktıktan sonra hemen temizleniyor. Kahvaltı çok tatminkâr. Personel nazik ve isteklerinize hemen cevap veriyorlar. İnsan daha başka ne ister? Teşekkürler."
