I liked that the property was close to the Steel Pier, & beach right on the boardwalk. I did not like the cleanliness of the rooms. Our room smelled of pet urine. Carpets were stained and smelly. It was uninhabitable.

I had fun, but the room had a weird smell to it when i told staff about it and asked for air freshener multiple times they just said okay we will bring it right over and never showed up with it. I was going to leave in the middle of the night because i had a migraine due to the smell but couldn't because my kids where already sleep so i had to suck it up.

The door to our room had broken wood on it, didn’t open properly. We called housekeeping for sheets and they were prompt but there was a roach on the linen. There is a horrible smell in the room, cigarette stained carpets, dirty elevator never cleaned during our 2 night stay, same dirty elevator every day. Yuck. Never again

Enjoyed the experience. Plenty to do for adults and children. Lots of security. Which make you feel safe. Pet friendly. Had a lot of fun. The only thing that was an issue was it wasn’t enough restaurants on site.

Had to leave hotel to dine at nearby hotels. Room was clean but shower head was low, for someone over five feet you would have to duck to get wet. Toilet was low to ground beds were uncomfortable.

I felt very unsafe in this property. Between the fight that broke out in the lobby while I was checking in to the loud noisy drunken patrons in the hallways at 4 am. I will not be staying there ever again.

The rooms are very outdated & untidy. There were stains all over the floors, broken bathroom door, broken lamp stand, and rips on the walls. The cleaning staff never came to the rooms or replace towels. The rest of the resort is fine but the rooms are in need of renovation. Unfortunately, I was not pleased with my stay

During the time my family and I traveled ( Thursday- Saturday Memorial weekend) a lot of restaurants were closed and opened on Saturday the day we were leaving. Same for the hotel bar they didnt open until Friday. However there is plenty of kids activities on the premises and is right on the board walk. Recommend for families.

They decided to give my room away and offering me a down graded room like it was a benefit. I paid for 2 family and rooms for me and mu family and was given the first time a room full of duck tqpe and smelling like a person that smokes and never bath room.. then i went and was given a room that ac didn't work . Its much more to say but not enough pages. This place is terrible

Great overall for our first time, and I plan for us to come back! Housekeeping service was poor, though (didn’t knock on our door, but at least the front desk sent up blankets when I had to call and ask). We had to take out trash cans out in the halls, were emptied with no liners, had to get them… other than that, enjoyed the hotel, a separate water park!

We stayed at the Showboat Resort for Memorial Day Weekend for two nights (Sat Sunday 2024). I will talk about few good things before I talk about serious problem for this resort. There are many different kind of arcades and much fun to spend a day. Water park entrance in side the resort and convinence. Park was clean and secured. Now talk about serious issue here. Park was small and crowded for holidays, They dont even provided towels and charged $79 daily pass. after we played 3hrs. we check-in the Showboat Resort. We were shocked when we enter the room. We missed the OCEAN RESORT. We terribly made a big mistake to spent over $500 for two nights @ SHOWBOAT RESORT. Room was not cleaned and outdated. the room smells like old carpet. There are no power outlets in the room. we charged our phone, laptop in the bathroom. No Customer Service!! No one answered front desk or house keeping. This was the worst resort experience I have ever had in my life. PLZ DO NOT STAY @ SHOWBOAT RESORT. This place is so broken.

Our room smell like a dirty ashtray, wall paper peeling off the wall. Outlets in the room wasn’t working. Soap and room amenities needs improvement. No water bottle for the guess. For 560 dollars a night this was the most poorest room I seen in my entire traveling experience. I travel half of South America and North America and that is the ugliest room we been in. Zero stars for the room

I requested a handicap assisble room and was placed at the end of the 21 st floor. The hike from parking garage to actual hotel was quite a distance with no luggage rack on close proximity. The elevator in parking garage were smelly and carpet dirty. The mattress on the king bed was hanging off end of bed.

It was fine for 1-2 nights but wouldn’t stay for longer. Our hotel room neighbors were playing music and talking loudly until 5am both nights. Multiple towels and one of our pillowcases were dirty upon arrival. Bed was comfortable and staff was nice though.

I don’t feel comfortable at all. Around 2 Am someone was trying to open my door. People in the hallways make a lot of noise late night. Is not the best place to relax.

I had tickets to a concert at the hard Rock and this was the closest place for me to say that was affordable. I had an ocean view which was great. My room was spotless and immaculately clean. All the staff that we encountered was very helpful and pleasant. My only issue was having to carry everything to our room. The valet wasn't very helpful in that regard. While the room was basically quiet , we could here kids yelling and running .around in the hallway. Luckily ,didn't last very long

Hotel has been remodeled and the rooms were way better than I expected. They were actually great for the price. Biggest issue was parking. They have some unknown website to do it through and it is very unclear. There is no app for it and no way to log in to extend your time. All three of our cars got parking tickets despite paying for parking. That is the one downside. Parking for guest is also more than any hotel in the area.
