I'm sure the property owner will respond by stating that they are sorry and take this matter very seriously, as they have the past couple of years. I have never been terrified staying at a hotel, until my son and I stayed here last night. Expedia needs to remove this hotel from their list since this is extremely unsafe!!! We had been stuck at ATL airport for 2 days due to our flight being canceled. Exhausted, we decided to get a room to lay our heads down before heading back to ATL. We arrived at 4p.m, and there were two young teens dressed scantily with wigs in the lobby, felt very uneasy, as some other guests walked thru the lobby.We got our room key, headed to the 3rd floor, and heard fighting and then 3 women leaving a room quickly, along with the aroma of weed and other drugs.Room was filthy, blood on the walls, sheets were dirty, with feces and burn holes, food on the microwave, dirty towels as well as filthy bathroom.We were too scared to leave as we could hear ppl yelling, and constant walking up & down the halls.Was awake all nite due to doors slamming, men coming and going, constantly, (watched thru the peep hole) loud music.Suddenly, at 4am all the traffic stopped.We left at 5:15 in the morning, elevator locked, went to stair well, and people were in there.No phones in the rooms.From what I gathered from previous reviews on other sites, this hotel is used for prositution and drug trafficking, and the owner is in on it. Eager to see their response! Shame on you

FYI this is NOT college park, the area is called “old nat” and is well known by the locals as a bad part of town, While we had no problems with the “patrons” there is definitely a prostitution ring running out of here as well as the other hotels in this area, while other Expedia reviews have responses from the owners stating “we will look into this serious matter” it’s clear the owners and staff get a cut from allowing this prostitution ring to operate, staff allow what we assumed to be the “pimps” (since we witnessed ladies of the night handing off money to them many times) to sleep in the lobby overnight. A colorful cast of characters indeed. The room next to us clearly was some sort of central hub and they smoked in the room as well. Bed was at least clean. Airport shuttle i suppose was a bonus. My husband and i are pretty accepting of all walks of life and the regulars were nice to us without issue. But that said, anyone else should probably avoid staying here or in this area at all. News articles i read after we left include a double homicide in this hotel, homicides and drug trafficking at adjacent hotels, and many more stories i will let you find for yourself when looking up “hotels in old national Atlanta”. Like i said, everyone was pleasant with us but if my husband were not 6’6 or in most other situations i wouldn’t feel safe here in any way.

Do NOT book here, I was uncomfortable my entire stay here. There’s prostitutes coming in and out (I literally walked out my door and a woman came out to the hallway with just an underwear??) they are also roaming outside the building. my sleep was disturbed multiple times. I was awakened by someone banging at someone’s door at 3a.m yelling to open the door. The area is just not somewhere you can go out or even come back at night. It’s really scary you literally have to be cautious because there’s men just standing outside of the building drug dealing might I mention that the elevator doesn’t work on certain hrs. The bed sheets were stained when I arrived however housekeeping did come by the next day to change and clean the room. Also be aware that it smells straight up like smoke. The lady at the counter was very nice that’s all I have good to say

The staff are difficult to communicate with. Said “Free airport Shuttle “ is only to domestic terminal!!! $25 fee is more than an Uber!! Sketchy area. Would never stay again. Thanks.

The exterior of the hotel was dirty as there was an overflowing garbage bin together with garbage strewn around the front entrance. The room was clean and front desk reception was pleasant and helpful. There was a lot of noise heard all night wirh persons talking and shouting maybe in the corridors or lobby, I'm not sure. The breakfast disappointing, it was extremely sparse, with plain bread, no butter, no eggs, no yogurt, jus 2 small containers of jam. Limited tea, coffee, juice and cereal.

My first rooms was dirty, didn’t even look like they cleaned it. The sink was clogged, smoke alarm was missing, hair on bathroom counter, floor by tub and hair on bedroom sheets. The breakfast was bad, just had cereal, 1 apple and 1 orange, and some bread for toast. Worst hotel I’ve stayed at…avoid this hotel if possible!

The are was unsafe and there was obvious drug deals and lots of drug use and sex workers hanging around the property. Only fast food and no nice dining options at all. Unsafe to leave property at night for sure, during the day was sketchy too. Was not sure what was staining the curtains but it was a large black stain of some kind. Could have been cleaner in the bathrooms and did not clean rooms at all unless I was present and asked for it and clean towels etc.

The room was disgusting. The whole place smelled like weed. Bathroom was dirty and broken door, broken towel holder. The curtains had stains and holes on them and were half hanging from the wall. The door to stairwell was broken and wouldn’t shut and lock.

DO NOT STAY HERE
First and foremost when I initially went to check in there were no employees to be found, and I stood there for 15 mins. I went back to my car and called RedRoof’s corporate office to try and cancel when I was redirected to the lobby I was just in and was talked to rudely by an employee who had just showed up. There were signs posted everywhere saying “no smoking” but my room smelled of cigarettes and marijuana. Also, my door would not close all the way, so I had to barricade the door for my safety. In the parking lot I was harassed to buy “health insurance”, and en route to my room the same women were knocking on other guests doors trying to sell this scam.

This property was unsafe I had one gentleman try to sell me drugs and the lock on my room door was broke off and the room was filthy a half smoked joint was in the bathroom I took pictures of everything

I liked the price and really what more could I ask for. The hotel is dated in spite of some of the upgrades. It was a little scary seeing doors that were boarded up. It appeared that many doors were not accessible with good reason, but think they should tell you what doors are accessible because after a late flight there was no parking in the front. We couldn't access the door in the back and had someone not been at the side entrance we would have had to walk all the way to the front entrance. The bathroom ceiling appeared moldy and plaster was falling in the sink.

The shuttle for hotel was not running and I specifically booked it for the shuttle. The staff was friendly and the bed was great. Bathroom was a bit run-down.

Maybe I got one of the last rooms for the night, but it definitely was not a non-smoking room even if that's what the door said. Otherwise, fairly quiet and very helpful and friendly staff. If the facilities matched the staff, this would be 5 star.

This hotel Should be removed from Hotels.com site
The lady at check couldn’t have been any better, explained everything and VERY polite and nice and when I walked into the room I was nicely surprised by the size and appearance of it. The AC worked well. BUT that was all the good. The location, though close to the airport, not in a good place. Not located in a nice neighborhood. DID NOT FEEL SAFE! Ladies of the night and Drag queens wondering the street just off the property, the smell of drugs in the air, someone/bodies smoking dope. Not much open when I arrived but not sure I would have had a meal even if open. BOTH my bed linens are stained, top, bottom and pillow cases, with what, well some of it looked like blood and the other, don’t even want to thing about it. Killed to small flea type bugs on one bed after I pulled the cover down so then I started striping both beds back. What I should have done was gone to a better hotel but at 0145 in the morning and after being up for over 18 hours and having my flights changed 3 time and still not being able to fly home, I just slept with my clothes on.

The property advertised as non-smoking and recently renovated with nice looking photos of the rooms. In reality, it smelled so badly of cigarette smoke that even though we were completely exhausted we couldn’t sleep more than an hour and had to leave. As for the renovations, the shower had peeling paint, the toilet paper holder was rusted and falling off the wall with rusty screws hanging off the sides, and the air conditioner had gaps on all sides where we could see inside the wall.

Front desk canceled my reservation and made me rebook for $50 more once I got there. I had just come off a red-eye so there was not much else I could do but to pay it. The place is depressing and filthy, the rooms smelled like cigarette smoke despite having a 0 smoke free guarantee. Some doors were literally taped shut with duct tape, who knows why. I felt like I was in a Tarantino film. Unsafe, unhappy, unrested.

Bed sheets were dirty and had cigarette burns marks in them. Top sheets and comforters has unknown stains on them. Pillows were flat. Towels had stains on them. Does chain was missing. Had a dead bolt but there was a large crack in the door frame that someone could have opened door through. I had to push a coffee table against the door for safety.
