Rented this room so I would have a pool. Got to property to find pool is closed due to renovations. Very very very disappointed! I would not have stayed in this location had it not be advertised as a property with a pool. VERY DISAPPOINTED
hotel being renovated, we didn't know where entrance was located. Our suite was beautiful. Just concerned with easy access for anyone to enter property. Not safe until renovations are done. Room next door to us , they were screaming at 2-3 am. Was horrible, could not sleep with the noise.
Room is clean and looks good- comfortable and everything looks new.
Room did not have amenities such as lotion. I had to go ask for it at the desk.
The sliding door probably needs more than a pull up/down lock to secure the room. This is not enough as this is giving access from the street very easily.
The current entrance is not secure. It is wide open. The push bar is zipped tied on open position.
The corridor looks like a construction zone. At least clean it as the construction workers depart.
I must say I did not hear any noise maybe because they don’t work weekends.
All I am listing are easy fixed.
I did not see great value considering the rate I paid.
There was some remodeling happening during my stay but that didn't take away from the overall cleanliness of the property. The staff is always courteous & prompt.
Need one more elevator in the front building for people that needs instead of going to the only one at the back and then walk to the front building. All the 3 ice makers are shut down (i.e. no ice cube at all). Building is old. The renovation did not work fine for the bathroom door. And exhaust system inside the bathroom. The renovation work is still on so that the workers need the back door open which may compromise the security
We chose this bc it was closer to the destination, but the hotel never responded to the message prior to check in. Elevator was really far from the lobby and no help was offered for my 67 and 70 year old parents with their luggage. They carried it all the way to the elevator and it ended up being broken/out of service. Ended up having to take the stairs with their luggages. As others mentioned, the hotel is old and broken and gives motel vibes. There was a weird musky in the room (maybe due to poor air circulation) and the water pressure was very low in the shower. The old fashioned radiator (not central air) made a loud clacking noise all night while it was on. Staff did not care and service was terrible. They stayed 1 out of the 4 nights booked and left— I had to take the loss for the other 3 nights and rebook another hotel for my parents; that’s how bad it was.
