We liked the location of this property. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Sadly there is no dining room for evening meals. So you need to be prepared for this should you stay at this hotel.

This is a good hotel in terms of location. The main lobby is very small, but the ease of getting places from this location was worth it.

Very nice location..staff were very friendly. Nice breakfast with an awesome view. No parking in site but there’s one a block away.

The complimentary breakfast is healthy and testy. The room is nice with beautiful night view of Parthenon in Acropolis of Athens.

Very comfortable room. Excellent air conditioning!! Walkable to Syntagma Square, Parliament, tour bus stops, and Plaka. 15 minute walk to Acropolis. Terrific staff who are helpful with taxis, restaurant suggestions. Will return!

The positive - Breakfast The negative - In spite of being Expedia gold, no upgrade on anything was offered. Hotel does not keep your bags overnight, even if you are coming back and checking in again the next day. Hotel does not provide umbrellas if one has to go out and its drizzling. Very small room, barely fitting a double/queen bed. There was, somewhere close by, some music being played till wee hours and it was difficult to sleep due ot the noise.

Our first room was too small , I asked to move to a larger and they were extremely accommodating and kind. Would recommend. Coffee was great too!

I loved the staff especially the young egyptian man in the bar he was so lovely we like to have ice in the room so every evening when we walked in he would get ice for us his customer service skills were impeccable. We also loved the front desk staff they went above and beyond when i needed something printed in a pinch for my travels. I love the view in the room which was gorgeous and also the room itself was extremely comfortable all in all our stay was amazing and would 100 percent stay there again if i was lucky enough to find myself in athens again

Perfect Athens location! Walkable to literally everything. Nice accomodations and staff. Rooftop dining with great view. You can request a room with Acropolis view, ours was great! Small bar in the lobby. Clean & convenient!

Booked Acropolis Frame room with Balcony, double bed, end up with room without balcony and 2 single beds merged together. 2 phones were stolen near Syntagma Square area, too many thieves in Athens, not recommended to come, policemen are useless and not willing to protect tourists. Not a tourist friendly place. Better don’t go.

nice hotel, friendly staff, walkable to all tourist attractions. The only thing I will suggest fellow travelers is to bring ear plugs. Not the hotels fault. But there is a club near by that plays loud music until 3-4 in the morning.

This hotel offers nice view from some selected rooms and roof top. It is located close to public transportation and city center. There’s metro and bus connection from the airport. Very good hotel.

Hotel is newly renovated. Rooms are a bit small for two people. A lot of street noise if you are facing the street. Room was always hot. Strange considering it is winter. Breakfast room on the roof has amazing view of the acropolis. Cigarette smoke in the hallway in the morning. Excellent customer service at the bar.

Hotel was good, but lighting in the bathroom was poor and the shower door could be bigger the bathroom was full of water after a shower.. TV could do with the option to cast or link to phone Overall would recommend just for the breakfast view and convenient location everything very walkable.

We enjoyed staying at this property. It was close to shopping and many dining options and bars. Every person that we encountered that worked for this hotel was pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean and exactly what was described online. The breakfast buffet is good too. We will be back this year.

This was my first time at the Astor Hotel in Athens and I must say that it was pleasant considering that I was with a group of 22 students from the United States and due to the size of the group everything worked quite well while we were at the Astor. Prior to my arrival, there was a kind of confusion because my reservation, which was made with Expedia, did not appear in the hotel system, which caused concern on our part because this basically occurred a week before our trip and the reservation had been made since May 16, 2023, that is, 7 months before. Fortunately, this impasse was resolved and we enjoyed our stay at the Astor Athens Hotel. To all the hotel staff, thank you very much on our part.
