We loved our stay in Athens. The hotel was very clean and the staff were all so nice. Breakfast was delicious, so many options. Our room was big and clean with a view of the acropolis. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.

The noise in the hotel is pretty awful. They need to soundproof the rooms from the traffic noise and the traffic whistles. Otherwise a good hotel.

The hotel was perfect. The breakfast was soo delicious and everything was always fully stocked. The front desk helped us book a day trip to a few islands which was very helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay at your hotel

Very nice hotel in a fantastic location near the Plaka. Staff was excellent. Unfortunately, the bed was really stiff and the air conditioning stopped working late at night, so we couldn’t sleep well.

There's a fair amount traffic come rush hour making raxis an issue. And while the staff was largely professional and courteous one member engaged in what i view as an antisemitic comment. I let it go but was appalled none the less. All the more surprising since israeli tourists are very much welcomed in Greece and the hotel

The Amalia Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is friendly, helpful with directions, and very professional. The hotel itself is located in the central part of Athens. It’s easy to walk to places, everything is within walking distance. The only negative was that the room was hot during the day. The AC was not working. When I mentioned this to the front desk, the very kind clerk offered me a fan. It helped a little, but the room however was still quite warm. Breakfast at the Amalia was fantastic. There was an assortment of pastries, breads, fruits, breakfast meats, and eggs. Everything was delicious and the service was top notch.

Center of Capital with lots to do. Friendly staff and helpful. The 6th floor suite had view of a large part of the city. Need to say that it is located across form a small forest full of total trees. Very nice walk after breakfast. The complementary wine was a nice touch. Thank you all.

We enjoyed our stay with Amalia Hotel Athens though the hotel is a bit out dated but overall was pleasant. It’s located at a very convenient area and felt safe. Staffs were amazing and very attentive. Will stay here again

We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Amalia and would stay here again if we return to Athens. We stayed in room 608, which was a deluxe double with King bed and balcony. We had a nice view of the Monument of the Unknown Soldier from our balcony! Very convenient to Syntagma metro station (3 minute walk), and 10-15 minute walk to all of the historical sites we saw as well. We arrived prior to check in time, however our room was ready upon arrival so we did not need to utilize the complimentary luggage storage the front desk offers. Our booking included breakfast each morning which was quite the spread, and very delicious! Our room also had a complimentary bottle of red wine given our Hotels.com status. There was a mini-fridge stocked with cold items, as well as some snack items (both of which are not complimentary). It was a good size room, and the bathroom was spacious as well (tub with handheld shower. Toilet, no bidet. Check out was quick, and only needed to pay the nightly hotel city tax.
