The hotel is clean, the staff are excellent, the most friendliest and welcoming. They spent time advising us on where to visit and transport we could take etc. The transport links from the hotel in voulas to Athens city centre are excellent, with the tram and bus stops being close by. We used the tram as it was quicker, it was also cheap to go via tram. As a family of five it was difficult getting a taxi into Athens city centre, as they only seat, we would have to have taken two. Great 5-star hotel with all the services and panpering you could expect...the only downside for me (I knew this before booking) is the lack of an outdoor or rooftop pool (only available at the sister hotel next door). Other than that a perfect stay!

This was my second time at this hotel. Location was fantastic. 2 minutes to the beach, shops, bars, restaurants & tram into Athens. The staff are great. This hotel is perfect.

Incredibly efficient & well mannered staff! Issues were sorted out within 5-10 minutes & with genuine smile! Breakfast a real feast !! Totally luxurious! Generous ! Catering for all tastes . I was dilighted to have tender salmon & lots of gourmet delicacies . Even a honey comb with honey oozing out on the spot ! Better breakfast than most 5 star hotels I’ve been to . Chose this hotel because of the location for our short break to Athens for a family wedding. The staff could not do enough for us. We booked in at 3.00am in the morning and requested kettle & milk on arrival wish was most welcomed. Water was in our mini fridge too. Rooms were very clean. This is a beautiful, modern hotel with a great rooftop pool and bar. Balcony rooms were great. Ok there is a main road outside the hotel, but we still sat out on the balcony playing cards, drinking and enjoying the sunsets. Bus to airport, port and central Athens straight outside hotel. Fantastic variety of food at breakfast.

The property is clean and well kept. All the staff from reception to resturant staff were friendly. The food was good and the room was cosy. I enjoyed my stay!

The hotel was near the Metro. However, we didn't use it much as the main sights were within walking distance. The staff spoke English. They were efficient, helpful and friendly. The roof top restaurant has fantastic views of the Parthenon. We would stay at the hotel again.

No complaints whatsoever. Service and staff were beyond amazing. Was just what I needed and they dealt with every request amazingly and made me very happy with my stay.

My wife & I have just had a great time & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. As others have said, there are a couple of compromises. It is next to a main road & can get noisy. However, the rooms are soundproofed & we can honestly say we've never slept as well as we did. Our room was a great size as well & well equiped. From transfer from the airport to our reluctant return home, the gracious, courteous staff at Grecotel simply couldn't do enough for us.
