the pictures that are on the website does not dicpict the actuall accomadation the rooms are small, dark and dingy , very small elevator that can only hold two adults , the stairs ways are dark and narrow . this facility shound not be class as a hotel ,this is more in the class as a hostel

I loved staying here because we were able to get a room with a balcony view of the Acropolis. The location couldn't have been better. The rooms were very basic but given the cost of the room, I have no complaints.

The 2 stars is 1 for location - it was located in a very convenient area. It made walking to restaurants and shops easy. The second star is for a friendly associate in the entry of the hotel. The room itself was dirty - mold on the extremely small shower's shower curtain. Mold on the grout in the shower and ants all over the room. The shower was so small that it was impossible to shower without getting the entire room wet. It was impossible to get any sleep, as other guests were extremely loud and rude - slamming doors, talking extremely loud in the halls until the early morning hours. The room was impossibly small and made it hard for my family to walk around. Would never stay here again and hopefully I will save another family from wasting their money at this hotel.

The hotel was walkable to dining and shopping. Staffing was very helpful and friendly. The reception area was very small and there were several steps needed to climb up to the elevator. Beautiful view at rooftop where we had breakfast and view of Parthenon.

The location is excellent, the hotel is walking distance to the Acropolis, Syntagma Square, right in the middle of Plaka. The rooftop terrace has a full view of the Acropolis. It's a small, clean hotel with basics, but the location is unbeatable.

The Metropolis hotel located midtown Athens with an unbeatable view of the Acropolis was a great choice for our short stay. It was within walking distance of everything Athens had to offer and located across the street from a park. The church bells ringing offered a quaint European tone and the view from the rooftop was priceless.

Konstantinos and his staff are absolutely outstanding! The patio breakfast view is absolutely incredible! The rooms are tight but beds are comfortable! AC and comfortable! Location is outstanding! In the middle of everything!

I especially like the older gentleman at the front desk. He was kind and made our family of four feel very welcome on arrival and departure. The hotel was in a fantastic location. We walked everywhere and had a wonderful visit. One of the best parts is the air conditioner work to really well at night so we got a great night sleep. The beds are very comfortable.
