A wonderful historic hotel! The location is perfect for walking to the mall, the Riverwalk, The Alamo, and the many nearby shops. Everyone, whether checking in, valet, or at the restaurant was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

The stay was nice. It was a beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff was friendly. We did not receive the VIP promotional upgrades or the bottle of wine. Although we did get a small upgrade with a view of the river instead of the city, I had to ask for it by explaining the VIP status for Expedia ...

The front desk people were very nice and pleasant. Hot Breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausages, and Texas shaped waffles, as well as fruit and cereal.
