"The breakfasts was good but repetitive. Staff was always helpful and kind. Check in took a bit longer than I would've liked. The room I initially received looked nothing like the room I booked. My room was eventually changed due to other circumstances and I ended up in a room that looked like the pictures. The location is good but you will hear street noises from your room. Many shops and restaurants in the area within walking distance."

It’s very good place to detach yourself from the world and relax. Beautiful weather in End of February and beautiful scenery around. Middle of the Nile. Good spot for swimming and enjoying the view of Feali temple and Nubian houses. Friendly staff, clean simple houses, in local Nubian style Negative points poor internet connection and Wi-Fi. Not accessible and only way to reach is the boots that can be cost accumulating. Not a fancy restaurant but good for the price.

We had a wonderful stay at Kato Waidi Nubian House. The staff were incredibly polite, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They arranged all our transportation smoothly and made our stay completely stress-free. The traditional grilled dinner was excellent and felt very authentic. We highly recommend staying a couple of days to experience and explore the more traditional side of Nubian life.

We stayed just one night here but wish it was longer. Beautifully decorated room, with a wonderfully comfortable bed looking directly out onto the river Nile. We enjoyed sitting out and enjoying the view across the river and watched the sun rise the following morning. The staff could not have been more helpful and did everything they could to help us.
