"Maria Cristina is undoubtedly a beautiful, characterful hotel. The Basque welcome from reception was really appreciated. We received a lovely glass of the local wine and the person who checked us in was so pleasant and helpful and that theme continued throughout. The reception and door staff couldn’t do enough. We had room 301. An upgrade from the garden view we had booked. A spacious room, very comfortable bed, Byredo products. On the downside there weren’t any tea / coffee making facilities!...

"PROS - Newer property, great customer service, clean, great cafe and bar with helpful staff, free on-site parking and right by public transportation. CONS - we took a family room that sleeps 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). Rooms are small, not enough closet or storage space, one chair and one small trash bin in the toilet. Instead of shampoo and body wash - they have combo soaps for hair, body and hand."
