Castle in the Sand

"I actually really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I don't have anything negative to say about my time at Castle in the Sand. Although the price was super expensive for 1 night ($480), because of the day that I selected, end of summer. I really enjoyed the stay. The hotel is an old gem in the heart of Ocean City. The ground floor room (104) walked right out onto the sand and beach front. My 11-year-old grandson really felt like a king (his words, not mines lol). It was a 1br suite, with kitchen, refrigerator and full-size stove. with a separate living room and bedroom. well worth the money. I would defiantly return and stay on future visits. In addition, they have a wonderful restaurant (Coconuts) that offers amazing, happy hour specials, buy one drink and get two free! Thanks much for the wonderful hospitality. "Stayed with 6 kids. Lots to do. Great location. We all loved ice skating, the pool and the beach. Our room keys stopped working at least twice per day, but the staff worked quickly to fix it. The place is VERY out dated. Our tub had rust all over the floor. Other than that, we had a great time. It’s great for a family with kids. The food and alcohol was very expensive at the pool bar, but tasty."

"We love staying here because of the convenience to everything and the large indoor pool. The rooms have been renovated and are okay for a beach stay. I always have an issue with hair all over the room. It never fails but not a total disaster for the trip."

"The room was awesome, the hotel itself was beautiful, the only issue we had and most others as well, were the halls were too hot, felt like a sauna. The rooms were nice and cool though. I loved that they had a pool and arcade for the kids, a laundry room, vending machines, etc. Hotel was very close to the beach and restaurants which was nice, easily accessible walking distance. The balcony view was nice, loved the red chairs to sit out there at night. It was definitely a nice experience with my family."
