"pros: It's at downtown so that you can walk anywhere easily including bus stops, restaurants, cafes etc. If you pick a room with sea view, it's a gorgeous view of the black sea. cons: I was told the breakfast was at 7am but when I was down there at that time there was no breakfast so I paid extra for the breakfast for nothing! The shower was problematic and there was no chair to sit on when I wanted to work with my laptop."

"As part of a longer trip, my wife and I stayed at the Splendid to check out Buyukada. The hotel has great character and excellent interiors, with amazing furnishings. The staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back and for longer the next time we visit Buyukada."
