"Convenient location (base of Takeda Castle and you can hike up there, old city just right next to it), friendly staffs, and the room is tastefully decorated. In addition, the restaurant right next to it offers one of the best meals I have ever had. What more can you ask for?"
"Convenient location, helpful staff, reasonable accommodation condition, great value for the price. Do recommend for those who want to visit the ruin city."
"The Ryokan is on the main street of Kinosaki -onsen, with great view and easy access to all the public bathhouses. The customer services were really good. They also provide good dinner and breakfast there. And I appreciated that they allowed me to store my luggages even after checkout."
"Beautiful room, very helpful and friendly staff, fabulous breakfast, staff got us a lunch reservation, great access to the 6 onsen. Quiet and lovely town to get restore and rest!"
"Absolutely wonderful place! The service, the decor, the amenities and the design, the delicious hearty Japanese breakfasts, the central location - everything was perfect here. And the hospitality was incredibly warm and generous. HIGHLY recommend this ryokan to anyone visiting Kinosaki Onsen. "
"Perfect little hotel on the river front with easy access to the entire town. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they took really good care of the hotel. "

Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei
10/10 Excellent
"Everything about Kinosaki Onsen is a dream! The view from our hotel room looked like a painting. The rooms were very spacious. More like an entire condo than a room. The staff were very prifessional and friendly. We felt like royalty. My son lived the pool. It was great to have a shuttle bus every 30 minutes. Loved everuthing about it and would love to reurn!"
"Beautiful ryokan with a modern aesthetic in rooms. Spacious rooms and very friendly staff. Private baths were very hot and easily booked. Well located and easy to arrange for parking. Yukatas are provided and easy to wander the town, along with included pass to all the baths in town. "
"Property is centrally located in Kinosaki Onsen’s main street and canal. It is also almost in front of Jizou-Yu, one of Japan the town’s seven public baths. Room I stayed in was modern and recently built or renovated. This ryokan has its own bath. Staff at check in was very nice and helpful. They do let you know that staff after a certain time in the afternoon do not speak English and there is an 11:30 PM curfew - they lock the doors. Breakfast or dinner was not included but room and inn were still of great value. It even has its own private balcony area. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone and would stay again if given the chance. "
"The hotel is located in Miyazu, a short bus ride from Amanohashidate so technically, it's not in Amanohashidate. A very nice Western hotel, roomy by Japanese standards! The property is well maintained, like new. "
"Property located about 15 min walk from the main Onsen strip but it provides shuttle service to the strip every half hour. Rooms are large and very nice. Most notable is their buffet dinner and breakfast is excellent with various delicacies almost comparable to high end restaurant but with so much more variety."
"Location, location, location walking distance to everything you want from Amanohashidate tourist activities. Great hotel. I had a added pleasure of great sunrise view of the sun arising from Amanohashidate in early June (@4:45am)."
"We had a nice stay in one of the deluxe Japanese rooms. It was a treat for us and we felt well taken care of. We chose the half board option and the food and service felt special. The accommodation is just off the main strip but still very close. We really enjoyed our 2 nights. I would have liked to choose between an upper floor or lower floor as I pictured having a garden attached to our open air bath (I am probably being unrealistic so this is on me!), but it was still very lovely!"
