"This hotel was very refreshing after a terrible stay in Marseille. The room was clean and reasonably sized and the bathroom looked newly remodeled. Madame at the desk was very friendly. We booked this because we were boarding a river cruise the next day and the hotel was right next to the quai- very convenient for moving our luggage. Arles is a delightful town and the Old Town area is right next to the hotel. There were many dining options and we enjoyed walking around and finding the Van Gogh...

"Great location. Very close to so many places in Arles including Van Gogh sites, restaurants and charming shops. Love the stone walls and redone bathroom. Very helpful ladies at the desk. I took lots of transit to the Camargue and Saint-Marie-de-la Mer and they were very patient with my lack of knowledge about the buses and helped me figure everything out. Highly recommend."

It's in the country side so be prepared for strong smells at times 2 stars properly with unbearable price for Avignon area."

"We spent 4 lovely nights at Hotel Benvengudo. It was perfect relaxing escape in a tranquil setting, with beautiful gardens, a lovely pool, excellent food and friendly staff. We travelled down on the TGV from Paris and the hotel is perfectly located for a quick transfer from Avignon TGV, with the dramatic Alpilles landscapes and Les Baux de Provence on the doorstep. St Remy de Provence and Arles are also both a short drive away. Would definitely recommend and we hope to return."
