Very fun to stay in a converted house from the 1800s. Even though there is a lift, there are still some stairs. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice and fairly helpful.

The hotel has kept spaces like the lobby, bar, breakfast area and stairways in old stone, with arches and a winding staircase that are beautiful and historical to what was once there. Our room had a private patio off of it, a mini fridge and a nespresso coffee machine …all nice touches. Easy walk from the train station and major sites. The staff is very nice and accommodating.

Great place to stay…all our friends swooned over photos of the ancient stone staircase (like something out if Harry Potter), and the history of the building. Staff really helpful. Breakfast excellent. OK there’s no restaurant for lunch or dinner, but lots of places close by. Highly recommended.

Good location though the rue Nationale is not very prepossessing. The room was quite spacious and quiet, and it was clean and reasonably comfortable. The shower attachment in the bathroom seemed to have become separated from its holder. The bed was comfortable. The big disadvantage was that there was a really inadequate wifi service and I think the hotel management will need to figure out a way to solve this.

Ulysses made us feel at home the moment we walked in the big blue front door. Breakfast was really good value. Ulysses also gave us some great tips on Dinner restaurants & museums to visit. We loved our entire time there
