"We arrived late in the evening and required parking, all sorted very quickly. Staff great, hotel was a lovely quirky old building in a beautiful part of the town centre. Beds very comfortable. Would have liked a kettle in the room. Breakfast simple but great, just what we needed before a long drive."

"We stopped here for one night on the way to the Alps. It was excellent. The staff were genuinely exceptional. They were there for us for a very late check in (02:00) and smiling as if it was mid afternoon. The beds were really comfortable and massive. We were four in one room and there was plenty of space. Then breakfast was really nice. Simple but well done and the lady in charge just super helpful. We left with the impression that they really care. That’s increasingly rare these days.
