Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room. Lovely swimming pools. Great setting and easy to get to Beynac. Hard to find using the SatNav. Could have better directions in the booking confirmation.

Our host was delightful and ensured we had a memorable stay. He was kind and cheerful with an amazing collection of artefacts and furniture from all his travels. The garden was just lovely for breakfast which was excellent. We would love to visit again. Thank you, Bertrand!

What a wonderful surprise and a great way to experience both the Chateau and the Relais. At the Relais you even get your own balcony to enjoy the sunset at night. There is a pool, a sauna and a gymnasium at your disposal. I would just make a small recommendation - try introducing a hot cooked breakfast and /or later night snacks/bar within the Relais complex. Otherwise, bliss.

We came for a weekend in the region and were very well looked after by the owners and their staff. Design was high spec and fitted with the local architecture. Food in the restaurant was great at breakfast and dinner. Would highly recommend!

Plenty of parking, the staff were soo lovely, very friendly and helpful, one love lady printed off a list of recommended places for dinner and was extremely helpful. Our room was spotless and the beds very comfortable, everything was to our expectations and more!

This is such a lovely small hotel, situated in a great location set just back on one of the busy streets in Biarritz. It is right next to all the shops, bars & restaurants and the beach is just a short walk away. The daily market situated just across the road is full of really fresh produce and you can also sit for a coffee and a snack or a glass of wine if you prefer. Even though it is so close to everything it is not noisy.

Lovely hotel within an easy walk of Pau town centre. The spa was lovely, and the staff very welcoming. Great secure underground parking, with easy access even for lower cars, with plenty of EV charging. Also plenty of free outdoor parking on hotel grounds. Great one night stop on our travel through Europe this summer.

The hotel in lovely and obviously caters for the ‘Up Market’ clientele that they get given the proximity to the fashionable town of Biarritz, however Breakfast was not included and cost 26€ each!!!!! Far too much for a continental breakfast with additional hot items extra! Also be aware you are right next to an airport and will get occasional jet noise (not that busy though.

Great location just in the heart of the city all the shops, restaurants and the beach are 2 minutes away. The hotel itself is a little old-fashioned, but everything is clean and well maintained. It also has all basic equipment in the rooms with coffee machine, kettle and a small fridge. The bed was very comfortable! The reception is not 24/7, so make sure you are aligned with the staff on the details of your check in

We had a wonderful stay despite the weather being mixed. The spa was a lovely treat when sitting by the pool wasn’t appealing - although make sure you book your hour as it fills up quickly. We had a lovely evening in the bar with music and tapas - it was meant to be in the rose garden but equally lovely. Host Denis is superb. Breakfast is a joy. More like a chambre d'hote with Denis on hand helpful as ever.
