"We are locals who live 45 minutes away in Maryville, TN. We were looking for a quick getaway for spring break and knew The Island was at Pigeon Forge was a favorite of ours. We were concerned about noise because it can get loud, but let me tell you, WE HEARD NOTHING! The staff was Fantastic, friendly helpful when we needed it, the inside pool was warm but not to warm. Hot tub was our favorite! Gatlinburg is a short 15-20 minute drive. Breakfast was clean, well put together, fully stocked and stayed that way. The taste was great and full of flavor! Lots of things to do close by and you can easily walk from the hotel to The Island for tons of activities! We will be returning! "
