Very highly recommond this hotel. We had a wonderful time, fantastic location opening directly to the old port antica, recently refurbished rooms, brilliant staff and service.

Hotel was great and room was a good size for a family of four. Breakfast was good. It was great value and a perfect location to explore Chania. If arriving by car it isn’t well sign posted from the road and the entrance is down a very pretty alley.

What made this place special is the host or manager. A few days before the stay, he had tried to keep in touch with you, and during the whole stay, assisted you through, dining places, transport from and to the next stop and room assistance, etc. Any enquiries were responded within a matter of minutes, via WhatsApp. The best host I had ever encountered. You will surely have a peace of mind in his hands.

Hotel staff went out of their way to offer the warmest Greek welcome and first class service, especially Apostolos, Renata, Anna-Maria and the other young man who served breakfast. Hotel is beautifully decorated, with stunning sea view rooms and a wonderful roof terrace. Delightful breakfast with plenty of local treats to sample. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The manager noticed that my birthday was 2 days prior to my arrival, and to my complete surprise, arranged for a cake and an iced bottle of Prosecco to be delivered to my room. A lovely generous, gesture, and such a rarity in today's commercial climate. The facilities were all of an excellent standard, but it's the friendly atmosphere that really sets this hotel apart.

I spent 2 nights at Menta City hotel with my husband and 2 teenage children in Aug 2024. Our room was clean and spacious. The roof top breakfast was delicious, with stunning views. The walk to the old town was around 15 minutes. We loved the restaurants and browsing the many shops.

This is a truly charming hotel, in a great location. The service was so so welcoming it gave us the best start to our holiday in Crete. The staff recommended great local food and the breakfast was just wonderful. I am so glad we went there. We will definitely be going back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Casa Dei Delfini. The building has been beautifully renovated by the owners and was very easy to find from the instructions given. It is located in a pedestrian area which is very quiet and very typical of Old Town Rethymno, and a few minutes walk away from all local amenities and sites. Located in the centre of the historic region. Close to all you would like to see especially on a first visit. Hotel itself small and quirky, unusually and interestingly decorated. Breakfast on the terrace a highlight with fresh local produce.Staff attentive and helpful. Special mention for Evie and Johnny who made our visit all the more enjoyable with information and assistance on things to do and see. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
