The place is very close to the visitor center and the pier. Quiet at night. Owner/Staffs are very friendly. Feel like stay with family. The owner took us for bicycle tour in the early morning.($100 NT for bike rent). The room is very comfortable. The breakfast is good. Recommend to stay here.

A true relation escape, everything is perfectly considered and beautiful done. The onsen is wonderful and the dining top level (although expensive)

I booked it because it was cheap and on the way to my destination. Contacted the owner for instruction when by the the red bridge. He came to show me the way to the cabins. There's no signs leading to the place in latin alphabet. Navigation led me to red bridge no problem, however road is very steep. I enjoyed hot spring bath, good night sleep and hot water for tea. Maybe not destination hotel, but good place to stay for the night.

Gentleman at the front desk was so polite and friendly. Made our stay so welcoming! The place has been recently refurbished in May 22, so everything was clean and tidy. Location was perfect which overlooked the lake and had access to shops and restaurants.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, that it's in Taiwan, where expectations of hotels is low makes that even more impressive! The hotel itself is on is Ita Thao side of Sun Moon lake, which in my opinion is the better side. We didn't like the Main side as much. You step out the door pretty much onto the main road with all the street food vendors for snacks/breakfast/lunch/dinner. As they shut up by 7pm it doesn't disturb you in the evening. Great location with Lakeview (clue is in the name). Big room and bathroom. Breakfast was OK. Parking was a little zany as is the street outside.
