"The rooms were not clean. My friend’s room had hair in the bathroom and the shower did not work. The ceiling in my bathroom had black mold. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls. We did not have rooms as nice as the ones shown. Maybe some of the rooms are nice? The manager was very professional and pleasant. The woman at the front desk when we checked in was very matter of fact in a “we’re sold out tonight not much we can do” way. Breakfast was the worst we had in our 9 days in Scotland. The front desk also said we booked with Expedia and had to take it up with Expedia so keep that in mind. This room should cost £100 not the nearly £300 they charged. "

"Rooms were clean, staffwas courteous enough. The location of hotel is very convenient to reach places and also for food. The hotel is on high street and boat rides are just across the road. There is limited parking infront of hotel. Down sides are on-going construction which make sit a bit noisy during day and also dusty. The suites were behind the main bulding without any lifts, so we had to carry our luggage upstairs without any help from staff. The rooms deco was good. Two downsides were the power shower has very poor pressure and they should consider upgrading the electric shower to one with pumps. Other down side was that the sofa bed was very uncomfortable due to springs from mattress would abutt against the body. Property should consider upgrading that as well. The hot breakfast has only one option for vegetarians and should provide more options for £12 charged. All in all, it was a bittersweet experience. I hope in new ongoing construction work, property will consider some of the suggestions. When we go next time to Fort williams, i will shortlist this place as one of the options but would go for some other if available. "

"Our room was quite basic and a bit dated, but clean and tidy. There was a great selection of options for breakfast and it was delicious! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely meal the night before for my Dad's 80th and the food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Thank you!"

"We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant attached. Dinner was delicious and catered well to our vegetarian diet. Breakfast was adequate too. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Parking was convenient. Stayed with my husband and 2 kids, would stay again!"

It’s perfectly placed for visiting Ben Nevis and nearby attractions, while still feeling peaceful and relaxed. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It had everything we needed for a short stay, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and easygoing. One of the highlights was how convenient it was for starting our daily trips — whether heading to Glenfinnan, Skye, or just enjoying the local scenery. It made our travel plans very smooth. Overall, a great base for exploring the Highlands. Good value, great location, and a pleasant stay 👍"

"Second time I’ve used this hotel in a year when visiting FW. Staff are always helpful friendly and chatty. Was able to leave luggage there ahead of check in each time as I arrived early morning on sleeper train each time. Rooms and en-suites are well presented, clean and comfortable. Only marked down in one score as hotel looks a bit grotty on exterior. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Glenlochy Nevis Bridge Apartments. The apartment was exceptionally clean — the carpets were spotless, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. It genuinely feels homely and cosy, not just like a rental. The décor is tasteful, the pictures on the walls are beautiful, and the little touches — like flowers arranged on the towels — made it feel welcoming and thoughtful. The amenities go far beyond what you’d expect. There were plenty of coat hangers, washing pods, even razors — it’s clear the hosts have really considered what guests might need. The heating is strong and keeps the space warm and comfortable, which is especially appreciated in the Highlands. My husband enjoyed browsing the book Munros, and the board games were a big hit with the kids. It’s rare to find a place that feels so well-equipped for both adults and children. Overall, it’s clean, cosy, beautifully presented, and extremely well stocked. We would happily stay here again."
