I liked the Victorian style house apparently designed by an Italian architect as told by the owner who welcomed us with a big smile. The house, today, completely renovated still retains the charm of the era and with the collection of ceramics displayed on windowsills, shelves and tables both created by the owner himself and other artists, appears as a little jewel that I had the pleasure of experiencing even just for one night. The August House had a lovely ambiance and the staff were fantastic. This was our second visit and we would return again.

Angela is such a lovely host and even though we arrive following the hurricane and there being no power she made us feel welcome and at home. The rooms are well furnished and spotlessly clean and a nice breakfast is served by Angela herself a nice personal touch. In 3 weeks in Canada this was our favorite place we stayed. We also arrange a trip/tour with Angela's Dad a mine of local information and a real gentleman to spend some time with and would highly recommend doing his tour

A spacious, ckean room. The sfaff were friendly a d very welcoming. Our evening meal in the restaurant was outstanding, breakfast was superb. Ample parking.

We enjoyed staying here. Our room was very clean, comfortable, well-maintained and well-appointed. We had a full kitchen which included a dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge and freezer, microwave, toaster, cooking utensils, saucepans, cutlery and crockery. There was a dining table with room to seat four. There was free wifi and a flat screen cable tv. The bathroom had a bath with a shower over it and there was plenty of very hot water. Fantastic, tranquil location just outside the Kejimkujik National Park. Everything we wanted for a few days as part of a longer trip around NS.

Plenty of parking room close to doors. Staff extremely friendly and happy to help. Every time housekeeping had been in my room it was spotless and fresh. Nice and quiet location, I would definitely stay again

Lovely spot by the water. Surprised that with the provision of a kitchen with fridge etc there was no cutlery to eat the breakfast goods we brought with us. Bathroom was clean but incredibly small and the door on it did not close. They have a good set-up but some of the finer details were lacking.

Great location and a good standard of room. We were advised that there is limited overnight car parking in Wolfville so we elected to pay to park at the property in the underground garage. Perhaps it's a little pricey but having the car so close made it a lot easier. Credit to Micro Boutique, they did give us plenty of advanced warning that they don't have a lift, so depending what floor you are on, you may get a little 'work-out' carrying your luggage.

The hotel is a lovely old building with character. The staff are friendly and helpful, happy to provide useful suggestions about the area. The hotel restaurant is one of the most highly rated in town. It serves delicious food. It also stays open later than most. Nearly all the restaurants in Annapolis Royal close at 7 pm!

This was a great stop during a road trip. A solid choice; a good room and decent breakfast. I would definitely stay again
