Beautiful hotel with stunning rooms and real sense of luxury. The pool and grounds are so tranquil and calm and everything is immaculate The staff are attentive and professional and the setting is beautiful with giraffe and zebra roaming around - so lovely. A unique and secluded location set in private reserve; with added advantage of having hosts nearby for attention and customer service. We arrived in the early evening to find a welcome fire/bbq already lit...such a kind gesture! Annie was on-hand to give details of road closures, shopping advice; general comfort chats. The surrounding garden was a delight for bird-lovers; attention to detail in the accommodation perfect combination of lowkey and luxury.

Real bush experience can spot leopards relatively easily, lovely options for activities in terms of game drives in other private reserves and activities like star gazing tours. Lovely place, lovely staff and the owner goes out of her way to accommodate all requirements.

Wonderful place. We had an absolutely amazing stay, from start to finish. Saw every kind of animal and the guides and staff could not be faulted. The food was incredible as well, and nothing was too much trouble.

From check in to check out this was a fabulous stay. Food was amazing and served in the wonderful Boma area. Devin as host was great, incredibly knowledgeable about the local fauna and flora and also great with ideas for local trips. Brilliant morning walk before moving on. We had 2 nights here chilling before headinginto kruger and would recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely incredible stay! Had a phenomenal guide, KK, who was excellent as a spotter, guide and genuinely nice and kind. All the staff were helpful and friendly, a pleasure to be around. First night was a resounding success with a “bush braai” in the boma. Spectacular welcome to the reserve. Thanks to all there for a truly memorable trip!

My fiancé and I stayed for 2 nights at Elephant Plains and loved every minute. As I have never loved nature, I was skeptical and restricted the stay to 2 nights, but have left with khaki fever thanks to the safari guide (Matt) and tracker (Dumi). We stayed here for our honeymoon. Words cannot describe how we feel about Kapama River Lodge. This place is unbelievable. I’ve stayed at many 5* hotels, but this lodge is far more superior than any of them. The view from the chalets is absolutely amazing! Was only there for 1 night but really wish we could have stayed longer!

We loved our stay at Mantobeni. The whole experience was very special and unique. Our tent was comfortable and atmospheric and the food excellent. We loved the drives each day and saw some incredible animals and birds. Special shout-out to Brilliant, our guide. He was very knowledge and kind.

We spent three nights at Moditlo Lodge in April 2016 as an end to our holiday. From the moment we arrived we received absolutely excellent service in every single way.
