The room was super clean and comfortable. They make sure that everything is perfect. There's a kitchen downstairs where you can cook your own meals. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! "This hotel is in a lovely historic building in a perfect setting on Ovid Square. It was an easy walk to many of the sites and restaurants. Earlier reviews mentioned noise, but we did not experience that and had a very nice night’s sleep. The breakfast was incredible with delicious food served in large portions. We were very happy with our stay and would return in the future."

"This hotel was in a fabulous location in the middle of everything — literally surrounded by shops and restaurants. The hotel room contained anything you would ever need, such as vanity kits, shower caps, a desk, a couch, a coffee table, etc. It was large and spotless. I would stay here again for sure. Unfortunately, I had to check out early, so I missed the included breakfast. The hotel building itself is beautiful and historic. So pretty when lit up at night."

"Excellent location - very close to the beach while not far from the town centre. Breakfast was good, freshly cooked each morning with good buffet spread and choice. Room was clean and comfortable, though the carpet and some of the furniture shows deep marks and stains of wear and tear. Towels and bed linen also well used and thinned/torn with wear in places. Shower cabin very small - impossible not to touch the walls or the curtain when showering. Toilet and water pipes a bit smelly, had to keep the extractor fan on and the door open to keep it dry and vented. Perhaps a stronger extractor fan and some toilet and air fresheners would help. Staff is friendly, helpful and responsive."
