This place was filthy. We booked a room with a private bathroom, but what they don’t tell you is that the people next to you have a shared bathroom and half of it is right outside your door so you may as well have a shared bathroom. Location was great if you want to walk anywhere.. other than that? Nothing.

The hotel was very basic, but was ok for the money. Very narrow and steep spiral staircase just to get up to the lobby. The staff helped move the luggage which was great. The room was rather small and there was one bathroom for the whole floor (4 rooms). The staff was great and very helpful. There was a simple breakfast provided which was tasty.

We had such a good stay in the hotel, The owner made us feel so welcome and even recommended the best places to visit. We will definitely be coming back!!

The room was extremely basic . The stairs going up to the room we’re extremely dangerous, very steep and the top step on each flight was higher than then others so you tripped on it every time . There was to tea/coffee facilities. The towels were old and miss matched. Had to ask at reception for a remote control for the tv as not kept in room . The bathroom was basically a cupboard. The guy on reception was nice but not knowledgeable about the city

Great Location Super stay!
Can’t ask for a better location and had a outside window view towards the city! Great for money if you’re after a place to stay in a sick location you couldn’t ask for anything better! People complain about the stairs however they are steep but that’s part of the experience

We liked our room, nice large windows made it seem light and the bedding was clean and room was nice and tidy. Disliked the steep stairs, was worried would fall down and break my neck lol but in these old buildings it really can't be helped and find steps in most places

I liked proximity to Amsterdam Central Station and canals. Very questionable value at 180 euros per night. No elevator with narrow spiral staircase.

We booked this place last minute and it was just what we needed. It was very central, the staff was friendly, and it was cheap enough for how last minute we booked. We'd definitely stay again.

Location is only worth the value!!!!!!!
So, me and my friend arrive on 24th May for a 2 night stay. The Hotel itself was pretty much in the center of everything, including a tram right outside. We honestly couldn't fault the location at all. However, we had 1 double room (with two single beds), and the beds were ridiculously uncomfortable! you get the bare minimum in the room, on arrival we wasn't given towels or even a remote, we had to call reception and request for them. The rooms smelt damp & in terms of hygiene, the room was just about acceptable enough to sleep in. It should definitely be classed as more of a hostel then a hotel. I can see why the hotel charges quite a lot - because without the location i wouldn't even pay £10 a night to stay here! ALSO.. DO NOT go into the WYERS restaurant next to the resort, every night we saw nice running alive in there!

Not sure why there is soo many negative reviews, perfect location in Amsterdam probably the best location I’ve stayed in the city ever. Staff are lovely and helpful, 24 hour reception for anything you need. Also everyone mentioning the narrow or awkward staircase clearly has never stayed at any hotel in Amsterdam as nearly all feature similar stairs purely due to the structure of the buildings there. Very pleased would stay again,

😫😫😫Not my idea of a romantic trip away. Shower is above sink and toilet in wet room. Not even a proper door on it just an old done in shower door. There was defo no pictures of that on the website. The room was like something out of an inbetweeners movie. Booked for 2 nights only stayed one. Moved to a far better hotel that was cheaper. The man at check-in desk said he would refund our second nights stay but he wanted our bank account details. We paid by credit card when we arrived but he refused to put it back on the card said he couldn't but he would take our bank account details really strange. We should have known when he asked if we would like towels when we checked in. Alarm bells started to ring but thought it cant be that bad Thin curtains different lengths woke up at 6.30am with light coming in Tv that didnt work. Big gap at bottom of door. One hanger in the wardrobe. Hairs in bed. One plug socket (2 if you include tv one but felt like it was glued in) Crazy wetroom very run down If it cost €100 for the 2 nights you could say it was cheap and cheerful. But its just a rip off. Our new hotel was cheaper and far better in every way.

It will ruin your vacation
Steep stairs with no elevator in case you bring a large bag. Internet connection was quite bad for most of the day. It is a smoking hotel. The staff smoke in the lobby and that permeates to all rooms. Rooms are quite small and noisy.

Ok-
Da vi ankom hoteller var det helt ok, men når vi gikk på rommet var det både mugg langs vinduene, møkkete bad. Samtlige av sengene hadde enten blod, eller andre ting på seg. Man kunne se laken var vasket men det satt fortsatt igjen blodflekker. Rommet er så dårlig isolert at det var store mengder fukt i rommet. Ellers er beliggenheten veldig bra. Dusjhodet på rommet fungerte heller ikke.

Unser Zimmer, besonders die Bettwäsche und das Bad, war total dreckig, heruntergekommen und in einem extrem schlechten Zustand. Unterm Bett sammelte sich der Dreck der letzten Jahre. Die Zimmer sind zu klein und die Ausstattung ist unterstes Niveau. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis lässt sich nur mit der zentralen Lage rechtfertigen. Das Hotel ist nicht barrierefrei. Die Treppen sind eine Herausforderung.

Hotel muy bien situado para moverse andando
El hotel esta muy bien situado al lado de la estacion central y a 5 minutos mas o menos de la zona centro y barrio rojo. El hotel esta bien si lo único que necesitas es una cama y un servicio que es lo que yo buscaba, las camas podrian ser mejores y el baño mas grande pero en general es aceptable. El personal fue amable y atento. Si quieres un hotel bien situado, sin muchas comodidades, en general bastante limpio y no muy caro de precio se pueden pasar unos dias en este hotel
