With the exception of an issue with breakfast (which should have been included FOC but we were charged for it at checkout; at the time of writing this is under investigation by Hotels.com), we could not fault the location, the property or its management. It is wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A very very minor point but there was no plugs for the kitchen sink - we did enquire but were told there weren't any.

This is an excellent hotel and they cope superbly with multiple arrivals. We know this hotel well and they know us.Wonderful situation next to the main north-south motorway in Hervas.The staff are fantastic and will do anything to help their guests. The food is excellent and great value. The company is constantly upgrading and it is no wonder that Roma is so popular Brian and Sally Smith

As experienced in late March 2015 at a very good rate of €80 inc breakfast. Very nice location & surroundings - it was a palace for Charles I (of Spain). Excellent room with very comfortable twin beds (close together for intimacy, if you want it!) and beautiful bathroom. Bathroom let down by the shower as the glass screen on edge of bath was inadequate to prevent water on the floor. Machinery type "hum" in our room was occasionally slightly intrusive at night - couldn't find the source and...

The most amazing parador a 16 th century convent converted beautifully. Breakfast was tasteful and evening meal sublime . A lovely outdoor pool with sunbeds and deckchairs to relax Hotel parking accessed by car lift but secure, charge 18 euros day . Beautiful courtyard to admire the building and sip a drink . Right in the old town walkable to the river and plaza . Not much was open in the town in the evening so book the restaurant in the hotel .

Traditional style hotel. Beautiful setting. Clean and great value deal. Room, 3 course dinner and breakfast. Would definitely recommend and we are very likely to return.

I stayed for business trip and the staff were very welcoming and helpful to me from when I arrived. My Spanish is not great but were always helpful to try and help or accommodate me. Breakfast was good and the evening buffet meals had variety of choice. Many of the guests clearly visit for the pool and spa facilities, as well as hiking trials and cycling routes in the area. I did not have time for this but had an enjoyable stay and would return due to the practical location and friendly staff.

Great choice at breakfast both fresh and freshly cooked. Almost everything homemade. The building has been converted to a really elegant hotel. The garden is a real bonus.

Beautiful hotel and lovely staff. Plasencia is abit of a dump but this hotel is a wonderful oasis. We stayed with our dogs. They had a big bed and bowls and nibbles welcoming them. We had a stunning suite. Loved our stay there

Hotel is within easy walking distance to the historic part of the town which is just like stepping back into the middle ages. The town is full of cobbled alleyways and buildings which are used and probably built about 17th century, although I could be wrong. Groups of school children were visiting the place to soak up the atmosphere. The square is surrounded by shops and bars/restaurants. The people are extremely friendly and helpful.

Everything was perfect and I have to stress the upgrade I received, by courtesy in the reception, for a room in the main building with very good conditions without any change. The only thing I considered less was the breakfast that had a few variety of food.

Great value. Nice appartment with large tetrace. No real complaints but not brilliantly stocked and wifi was broken.great value for money though.
