I’ve been to India a dozen times and this is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Do yourself a favor and book this trip as soon as you can. I’m not kidding. It’s bucket list stuff.

I had an excellent massage and we liked the novelty of canoeing down to the beach. The front of house staff were excellent however the restaurant was less so.

We took a 2 day houseboat from Alleppey booked through the resort (beware of cheaper houseboats that will disappoint you) and had the experience of a lifetime.It was simply amazing to be able to experience and share the daily lives of the people who live by the backwaters. Lovely property near the beach in Alleppey. Room was comfortable and well appointed with all amenities including tea/coffee , iron and hair dryer. Nice helpful staff. Lovely breakfast with many options. Uber available for taxi rides.

You must stay here if you want a Heritage Property rather than a generic hotel. Previous reviews online mention... Swimming Pool - No damage to any tiles and is spotlessly clean. We stayed for 13 nights in a detached villa which was next to the beach. From the time we arrived to our depature the service at Abad Turtle beach was 6*. The grounds are beautiful & it very peaceful the only sound coming from the birds & the sea! Its an amazing hotel tucked away facing the lake. I loved the Aapams and the Mini Fishing Net. The facilities needed to be updated such as A/C & The Shower Head However it was a peaceful environment and the one room house boat was stunning

The property is GOOD Well maintained Vintage property … But it’s neither beach front nor beach view rooms… And it doesn’t have private beach….

Baywatch Resort is a GREAT place to stay with family. Very good home like facilities. Breakfast was awesome. Mr. Mathew was of great help anytime we requested. Our local auto driver Saji (recommend by mr.Mathew) was truely amazing and helped us for everything including shipping. I wish we could have stayed there for some more time.

This is a perfect location for a Indian romantic getaway. The houseboat station is right outside.
