Rooms clean, bed was good, plenty of hot water, some things like bathroom sink replaced, but over-all the building is very old and falling apart. Some photos shown are very out of date and misleading. If you just need a place to sleep and a shower, it's okay, and if you can get in on the Opera House tour, it is very interesting."

"The hotel has very quirky design style, some may call it creepy ( my kids did) but others may like the western vibe. It was well priced and well placed for our trips into Death Valley National Park. The walls were a bit thin so bring ear plugs. Also, they did not accommodate our request for our 2 rooms to be in the same floor - which wasn't a big deal because our kids were older."
