"This hotel was incredible. The room was a comfortable size, beautifully decorated. The bed and pillows were so comfy. They decorated it in rose petals and balloons for my birthday as a driving surprise ( after my partner asked them) The outside of the building was so intricately decorated in carved sandstone. The pool was refreshing and a most welcome pleasure. Views of the huge fort looming above, while we are in the restaurant, were like something from a movie. The boys in the upstairs restaurant were so sweet and made absolutely delicious food. The concierge was very friendly and efficient and even gave us a ride back on his motor bike when he passed us walking back :) Over all a great location in a fabulous city. I've seen many Indian towns and cities and Jaisalmer would be up there as one of my favourite."

"Made to feel very welcome from arrival through to departure. Everything was brilliant. Lovely spacious room , good nights sleep. Breakfast was really fresh and great quality with plenty of choices. Excellent evening meal were enjoyed with amazing view across to fort. Advice and tour particularly the camel trip was brilliant and we really enjoyed the trip arranged for us by the hotel and riding camels in the desert and meeting fellow travellers. "This is an amazing haveli hotel the rooms are fantastic with a view of the fort. It was close walking distance to the fort and Gadisar Lake. Staff was very helpful and friendly and was able to book a ride for me to Jodhpur."

"Expedia site does not mention that the property has no car access. You have to take a tuk tuk from a few miles away (from the car parking area). This is false advertising. Most of the staff were wonderful. I wanted to pay in cash (since I'd exchanged a bunch of foreign exchange), but they charged my credit card without my permission. With proper policies and accurate description, customers will be a bit happier with the property."
