"Nice Hotel Close to Train Station Modern, comfortable, reasonably priced. Excellent buffet breakfast. Rooms are very nice but, oddly, without any amenities other than towels, liquid soap, and toilet paper. Hotel is clean and the staff is excellent. Lobby is tiny and gets crowded because of very slow elevators. I suppose the sketchy neighborhood is due to the close proximity to the train station. Lots of trash, some local businesses seem to be permanently shuttered. Easy walk to Old Town and Castle. Overall, a nice place to stay especially if you are traveling in Germany using the rail system. I would definitely stay here again, if not just for the breakfast."

"Slightly older version of Ibis but still in decent enough nick. Brilliant location just a few minutes from the station if you follow the Aldstadt exits and from there it's just steps into the city centre. Reception was very busy when I arrived but the clerk worked like a Trojan to get us all processed efficiently and at check out another staff member helpfully stored my luggage. Room was quiet & clean, decent aircon for the hot days, no luxuries but excellent value."
