Ideal location if wanting to wander around Altstadt. The staff was very nice. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. Amazing place to stay.

The room is in need of a renovation and it is very tight quarters for two adults. The bed that we slept in is horrible and the pillows didn’t make it any better.

The Steichele Hotel was a delightful gem that exuded German history and charm. It was very close to U-Bahn and tram stops, so getting around the city was very easy. The breakfast had eggs, meats, cheeses, breads, and yogurt every day, and the staff was very friendly and prompt. We ate at the attached restaurant twice for dinner - the food was delicious and it came almost immediately after we ordered! I would definitely stay here again while in Nuremberg!

The staff is amazing — they really care for you and go the extra mile to make you comfortable. The location is great: close enough to everything yet distant just enough to avoid the noise and commotion at night. Parking garage is right there, across the building.

Breakfast was a continental breakfast with a few warm things such as wurst and eggs. It was very varied, plus there was a fruit salad and fresh veg which I always like. There are loads of cafes and shops in the vicinity. I thought the price was very reasonable, but German hotels do seem to be quite reasonable. Place was clean.
