No where near Jackson WY as you described. Got to Jackson and it was another 2 hours. Then our route was blocked. We called and called, as we were worried about being stranded. No answer, no heads up on the road closure. We were not able to get there safely with 3 children in the dead of night with no assistance. We came halfway across the country to stay. Requesting a refund. We are so incredibly disappointed. And so are our kids.

Grand Targhee is fantastic! It is a wonderful ski hill with a wide variety of runs set in stunning scenery and an incredibly modern yet comfortable vibe. The lodging is comfortable, homey, and convenient to the hill. We visited with our 3-month old and had a tremendous time. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating for families, and the easy access to the hill made it very easy for both my husband and I to take turns skiing while taking care of our baby. The outdoor hot tub and heated pool are a perfect way to wind up a day on the hill. Highly recommend to anyone with or without kids!

I am a disabled Veteran. They put us on the second floor with no elevator and would not move my wife and I even though the hotel was empty. The access to the office was up a large flight of stairs which was a problem. The attendant wanted me to go back down get the car information and come back up. I told him several times I was disabled and stairs were a problem.He did not care one bit. Added to this the room was on the very end of second floor right next to all the construction going on. Again the place was empty and ge did not even mention that. Could have moved us to the other lodge right there but nope. There was extreamly poor and limited food and services. It overal is a place I would never recomend to anyone. Over priced and not worth any price. Dont go!
