"A wonderful couple of days stay, very convenient for driving & walking to various lovely villages with tea rooms.
Will definitely go back to explore more of the area & have a longer stay at Bossington Hall.
The breakfast was second to none, pleasant surroundings to enjoy our stay."
"Really lovely guest house in a quiet location but just a short walk from the railway station and centre of town. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast excellent and the host extremely welcoming."
"Hotel was well run and the chef kindly cooked some food of mine due to numerous dietary restricttions, and did it beautifully. Dog was welcome and much kindness shown to both of us. Would highly recommend particularly to solo travellers or those with dog."
"Loved this hotel - excellent position as a base for us walking the SW coast path. Rooms were lovely and the receptionist was so helpful and a real asset to the hotel team, helpful and welcoming - THANK YOU :) "

The Exeter Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Check in was advertised at 3.00pm, arrived at 4.50pm but room was not available & hadn't been cleaned as the cleaner didn't turn up? Menu was reduced as the chef didn't turn up either and no toilet rolls in the bathroom. I gave my breakfast order the night before but it was not passed onto the cover chef in the morning, so in all not a great experience but...would I stay there again...definitely yes. Michelle and her team were amazing, they did everything possible to make my stay enjoyable and it was. The room was clean & spacious. The hotel is full of character & is attracting locals & passers by.
Michelle and her partner had just recently taken over and need time to settle in and put their stamp on the business. I will certainly return and stay longer next time. Thank you Michelle and all"
"All you could want from hotel, but only bed and breakfast. Both were perfect, as was the location.
Great for walkers and those wanting peace and quiet."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfy rooms in an extremely peaceful location.
Our host was very friendly and courteous throughout and showed a genuine interest in helping us have an enjoyable weekend."
"Hotel very quirky and quaint. It was like Stepping back in time, intentionally that way. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly stay there again. Owner and his wife couldn't have been any nicer and always ready to help and very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas."
"Just got back from a lovely weekend, it’s not posh but it’s fairly clean and comfortable, can’t complain for the price for 2 nights. Met some lovely people in the bar and the staff were all friendly. Thank you for having us. "
