Stayed one night as we had a wedding nearby. Our family of five had the 6bed family room. Modern, clean, spacious , 2 bathroom. Very happy with the room. Took breakfast next morning - lovely. Paid for what you ordered. Children happy. Couldn’t have asked for more. Great value.

The place was very quiet and central to everything we wanted to see/do. The restaurant menu was a little sparse but there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. It was warm when we were there and there's no a/c so we made due with the 2 fans provided. Our daughter's room next door was nowhere near as warm so not sure what was up with that?? People could not have been more friendly/helpful.

Great fully accessible wet room but nowhere to put shampoo etc. Bedroom adequate but as basic as a travelodge so not worth almost £500.00 for 3 nights. No desk or comfy chair. Bed very comfortable. Bedroom nice and clean. Cost of food and drink high and service slow, breakfast needs to be included in price. Bedroom near kitchen so noisy and delivery vans noisy which were outside bedroom window before 8am.

Spacious rooms
Very large modern room, comfortable for families. Good sized bathroom and shower and hair dryer in the room. There is a nice restaurant downstairs, but also several restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Also good parking at the hotel.

Lovely and friendly staff. Check in /out was smooth. The family room was really large and comfortable. The breakfast options were great and at a great price too. The menu was vast and the food was delicious. Walking distance to explore the area and a great stop off point for many attractions.

Many thanks to Desmond for making us welcome. A dinner and breakfast were good. The room was quite warm, but two good fans were provided. I’d stay again.

Good hotel but too hot!
This is a nice, newly refurbished hotel. The rooms are very functional but clean and comfortable. Parking was fine and the area was quiet at night. Good places to eat very close by. Staff friendly and helpful. One problem - our room was very hot, even though the weather wasn’t. Thankfully two fans were provided which helped. Room ventilation was a problem, resulting in our room being hot and stuffy even with the window open.

Oasis of modernity for a quick getaway on the loch
This brand-new feeling hotel is clean, comfortable, and modern, with attention to detail. Felt downright luxurious after a few weeks of travel in other European hotels at a similar pricepoint.

Great location
The hotel was really friendly and in a prime location for restaurants bars and river cruises. The rooms were modern clean and spacious but had little furniture or anywhere to put your case. Just a small moan.

Unfortunately, they only had one fan. It was quite warm in the room. The kitchen wasn’t open for breakfast due to something and the internet was down. None of that was their fault.

Arrived before check-in time and met by Des who allowed us to leave bags with hotel to go off and explore. Very friendly man and made us feel welcome. Hotel had everything we needed, tea and coffee in room. Double room with a king size bed. En suite was a bit small but didn't bother us as long as clean. Towels changed and bed made daily. Good restaurant and friendly staff, always had time for a chat. 5 mins walk from Balloch St and bus stops. Sweeneys Loch cruises 5 minutes walk . We had no car so very easy to use local public transport. Plenty of restaurants/pubs in the area - a big Co-op too if you need bits. We were at the front of the hotel and whilst on a main road, it wasn't that busy or too noisy for sleeping. We went in May ( to avoid midges ) so may be busier in the summer months . May was a good time of the year to go, no crowds . Would certainly recommend this hotel when visiting Loch Lomond and the surrounding area.

Good overnight stop
Good for an overnight stay. hard to find because a privet hedge obscured hotel sign. No food after 8, but there is adecent Italian restaurant next door.

A very enjoyable 4 night stay, v comfortable beds, good sized room for family of 4. v clean, good tea/coffee facility in room. close to everything. train station just up the road. Staff v pleasant and helpful. Bar and restaurant excellent but unfortunately meals only served until 4pm during the week. V accommodating and lovely staff and manager as we arrived as a party of 26 looking for evening meal on the Friday evening with no reservation and nothing was too much trouble , service was excellent and food delicious. would highly recommend staying or dining here.
