"So we went all inclusive, as a couple with no children in late October.
The room, hotel lobby & shared spaces were spotless. The staff had smiles on their faces rather than being grumpy (always a nice thing to see). The kids club & play pool were to the side, out of the way & there was entertainment of various types laid on every day. The bar had branded drinks rather than the local version of whatever it is you're asking for. I.e. Smirnoff Vodka rather than the House Vodka. The beach was literally on the doorstep so all of these bits were leading up to a 5 star review.
However...... while the selection of food was actually quite good compared to other places we've stayed in, a majority of the time it was stone cold. Plenty of choice, plenty of seating, plenty of people on hand to clear plates away & the food was refilled regularly. It was just cold. So, if you like a fry-up, paella, stir fry, tortilla etc cold, here's the place to come !!"
"Nice hotel, well maintained and the room was spacious and comfortable. The buffet breakfast had lots of choice and we never had difficulty finding a table.
The hotel caters to families and we were surprised how many families with young children were there in mid October. For the most part it wasn’t an issue, however one night there was a crying baby at the table beside us and the four adults at the table thought it was fine to let the baby cry and disturb other guests for over 30 minutes.
The hotel is situated near the beach, but if you are coming in the shoulder season and plan to use it as a base to explore the old town and surrounding areas you would be better off staying closer to the old town. If you plan in using buses, be prepared that they can be full and pass right by you without stopping."
"Had a lovely 4 night stay. We were room only and had a lovely pool view. The room had everything we needed. We requested a kettle which we were given"
"This is a very comprehensively equipped resort. A bit too enormous for some tastes - there is a lot of walking to do. It is well situated a quick drive from Alcudia where there are excellent restaurants if you don't want the hotel's buffet every night. Decent beaches are quite a drive away."
"The staff were very friendly and helpful in all areas of the hotel. The cleaning was excellent and I really enjoyed the food. I would say there could have been more vegetable options. Some nights it was great, with asparagus, broccoli, peppers etc but other nights there were a lot of potato varieties and limited veg. At breakfast I found a lot of the pastries and waffles were quite dry but it did save me some weight gain!
I was a bit annoyed that it says there is an airport shuttle and when I asked about it, it was over 90 euros yet when I got a regular taxi, one way it was only 81 and the other way 70 something so I’m not sure what they are providing that warrants the extra cost when I was already paying around £200 a night for a very basic room. They commented that next year guests will be required to pay to use the kimena pool, this was the nicer pool with a nicer temp whereas the the other pool is very small and freezing so that would put me off staying there again. Again, why are the basic rooms priced so high if you can’t even have the facilities included. Overall I enjoyed my stay but I have stayed in nicer hotels for a similar price. Hector who worked in the bar was lovely and made a mean espresso martini! Shout out for being so friendly and kind."
