"Our clean and comfortable room had an ocean view and a beautiful palm right outside. The staff were wonderful and the location and price can’t be beat. We had a great short stay and would return for sure. "

The bedding also seemed worn and outdated. Most concerning, I discovered mold in the room. Overall, the condition of the hotel did not meet basic cleanliness and maintenance expectations. I don’t get how they got 8.2 ratings? "

"For the location, price, and property it’s a great hotel. What I enjoyed most was they allowed us to check in early, breakfast hours 7-1030 give you enough time, and complimentary snacks 5-7. Downtown Ventura is just a walk away as well as Ventura pier. "

"Definitely not worth the price, room smelled strange, blood stained sheets, decor is 35 years out of date. No AC/ Heat control for the room, only a desktop fan. The location is great, with nice restaurants. "
