Great place to be if you have an earlier flights or want to stay in safe zone

Having stayed in Heliopolis, Cairo before I found this hotel to be very quite and peaceful. It's away from the main road so traffic can't be heard. Up to the usual high Marriot standards and staff polite and helpful. Will be using again.

The check-in was not organized or controlled. All other things/conditions were ok

The Waldorf Astoria is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at... It is stunning and for travellers who want luxury, convenience and an unforgettable stay, this is the place. The hotel oozes quality. The staff are fantastic, the rooms (we were upgraded to a suite) are beautiful, spacious and clean. The facilities, including restaurant and pool are also excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I would not stay anywhere else in Cairo - by far the best hotel for miles around....

We stayed just one night in between flights and was super convenient. They picked us up with a shuttle and dropped us back. The restaurant was opened until late and the staff were really kind. The room was comfortable and good conditions.

Excellent three night stay

I booked the hotel but actually stayed in their other property Sama Sherif Basha Hotel due to unavailability issues. This could have gone terribly wrong and was offered to stay in Sama Sherif and at 4am in the morning I don’t want to end up in the streets so accepted. The trip was saved. Ahmed was very helpful in settling us in the rooms and it was spacious and clean. Breakfast was served in the room and could feed a whole village. We stayed at the Hilton with our 8 years old daughter for about 2 weeks. The hotel and especially the staff couldn’t do anything more to make our stay comfortable. We had an issue with our room and Rania (Guest Relations manager) was fantastic! She arranged a replacement room and made sure we are comfortable with our daughter. Special thanks also to Eiman from the house keeping team who kept us always looked after. All in all, the hotel amenities and staff service is 5 star!

Fabulous hotel in new Cairo! The grounds of the hotel are very secure with security staff onsite doing regular checks so we felt very safe. The staff were delightful and would go out of their way to ensure we had anything we needed especially the navigators who booked our Nile dinner cruise and sorted all travel etc. The pool is amazing and even though there was construction underway during our visit there was minimal noise or disruption. A real hidden gem in Cairo! I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when booking this hotel. I was specifically looking for a budget-friendly option in downtown Cairo and understood that it might not offer all the services and facilities you would typically find at the more established hotel chains.
