"The Moana Surfrider is such a pleasure to stay at. When you're in Hawaii, you want an oceanfront property and the Moana has a great location on the strip. You're on the oceanfront so you can go to the beach any time you like, then take a dip in the pool after. Food and shopping are walking distance and there's plenty of places to go. Water is provided daily in your room and housekeeping is helpful, courteous, efficient, and friendly. Housekeeping will also refill the coffee pods and tea bags in your room as well that are also provided for free. There are three wings, the tower, banyan, and surfrider wings. We generally stay in the surfrider wing in an oceanfront room. The oceanfront rooms have a lanai with rocking chairs so that you can enjoy a coffee and the sunrise while overlooking the ocean and sleep to the sound of the crashing waves. Depending on which room you're in in the tower wing, you'll either get a a view of the sunrise, sunset, or both. The tower and surfrider wings have balconies/lanais if you have an ocean view room. The banyan wing does not provide either for any of the rooms. Towels are provided for the pool and the beach and you can also reserve an umbrella for the beach if you desire. All the staff at the Moana are friendly and helpful. We've stayed at three other hotels in Waikiki, but always go back to the Moana Surfrider."
