"Great hotel with excellent restaurant and staff. It’s about a 25 min walk to town along the coast, passing by Moai. Only addition would be screens in doors so you can leave them open at night for cooler air."
"The breakfast at Hare Nui was phenomenal every day and their attention to detail was amazing. The room was clean and very comfortable and the sitting areas and gardens are beautiful. The staff were helpful and pleasant. We cannot say enough good things about the hotel!"
"Manuto is knowledgeable, fun, and a very good driver. I couldn't have asked for a better host and guide.
The free-range chickens were very entertaining."
"Hugo picked up from airport which I really appreciated. Location was spacious, clean and on the Main Street, so was close to shopping and dining options. The only recommendation is to make sure television is available. "
"Our Experience in Hotel Ohiro was wonderful! Mahina, the owner, who received us at the hotel, she was the Best. Her welcoming was outstanding, she is so friendly, well educated, and willing to give us the best experience in the island. She accompanied us in our second tour and it was spectacular! We loved her knowledge and attitude, great experience with her. "

"Wow!
Could not fault the property or the staff! Everything about the stay was perfect. Our host was just so lovely, felt like greeting an old friend when I got a hug at the airport pick up.
The rooms - what can I say? Just gorgeous. The beds were so comfy, the kitchen was clean, the bathroom was just what we need after a long day of exploring.
The pool and hot tub is such a nice extra as well! The speakers playing music in the evening in the sitting area as well really added to the perfect island vibe.
We were a group of 6 in our early twenties and this place was perfect. Would be ideal for couples or families as well.
If you need anything at all, the hosts cannot do enough. From booking tours, restaurants, to leaving beach towels and robes for use around the pool. I have travelled a fair amount and this is the first time I’ve been so impressed with a hotel and hosts that I have left such a rave review.
This has got to be the best place to stay on Easter Island
"
"We had an amazing time with my mom enjoying all the areas, having really good location and also I have to say breakfast was super complete, we are really happy with all the staff and service "
"Where do I even begin? Staying at Hare Nua Hotel on Easter Island was nothing short of unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were embraced like family—not in the polite, distant way some places offer, but with genuine warmth, care, and attention that stayed consistent throughout our stay.
The staff are the true heart and soul of Hare Nua. Every interaction felt sincere—like you were the only guest in the world that mattered. Whether it was offering recommendations, helping us with logistics, or just sharing a warm smile and conversation, they made the experience feel deeply personal. You’re not just staying at a hotel—you’re welcomed into a home.
The personal touches here are what set it apart. From beautifully arranged welcome notes to handcrafted decor, everything feels curated with love and thought. You can feel the care in every corner of the hotel. The grounds are lush, the interiors effortlessly blend comfort with local charm, and the overall presentation is impeccable—boutique luxury without an ounce of pretension.
And let’s talk about the food: absolutely divine. Breakfasts were a highlight of each day—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The local ingredients, the bold yet comforting flavors, and the peaceful ambiance made every meal feel special. You could taste the passion in every bite.
But what truly sealed the deal for me? The kitty. Such an all around amazing experience"
"We loved our stay at Hostal Pukao! The accommodations were comfortable & had the bonus of lots of kitties, dogs & chickens! Maria was a lovely hostess who brought us a wonderful breakfast every morning & helped us find what we needed around the island. "
