Beautiful property on great stretch of Kabalana beach. It was really nice walking along the long stretch of beach and having a dip in the warm and clear water.
The king size bedroom was big, clean and very comfortable.
The pool area was relaxing with comfortable sun beds with a great view of the beach and also direct access.
We enjoyed eating lunch at the pool area with some of the best king prawns we had, deep fried in panko breadcrumbs. Everything we had for lunch and breakfast was good...

From the moment you step into cape welligama to the moment you leave, you are being looked after by the staff with such immense care and attention to detail. The responsiveness and personalisation is excellent, and a level of service I have not encountered in any hotel before.
The resort is well set up for young families, and our room had easy access to what felt like a very private swimming pool. The swimming pools are set to have great views, and we had monkeys and peacocks come to say hello....

I would highly recommend Sergeant House. The rooms were very clean, beautifully decorated and good air conditioning. We really enjoyed staying at this lovely hotel. It has a really quiet and tranquil setting on a nice stretch of beach. There were a number of turtles in the sea just by the hotel. The room itself was very comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also had some nice meals at the property. Highly recommended.
