"We absolutely loved Masseria Torre Saracena and were so happy to have booked our stay here. The building is an elegantly restored historic stone structure. Each room has a small private balcony with views of the surrounding valleys, hills, town of Aggrigento, and ocean in the distance. We also had a view from the bathroom window of the stone cliffs behind us.
The property is located in the foothills outside of Aggrigento, very conveniently located to town and all of the Valley of the Temples...
"The property itself is nice… a 17th century house with all the modern conveniences of an elevator, AC, and new en suite bathrooms. Squeaky clean. Tasty restaurant attached. The only downside is this place is surrounded by cinderblock apartments, so the views are not as atmospheric as the hotel itself. We kept our windows closed for the most part, and did not enjoy the balcony. We did enjoy the sounds of children from the elementary school next door. It’s not quiet, but it’s happy."
"Enjoyed a lovely stay at this hotel. Had a fabulous view of the Valley of the Temples from our room - worth the extra money. Staff friendly and helpful. Easy parking as well."
"The property is absolutely lovely. A quiet relaxing place. I wished I had more time to enjoy sitting outside at the property. Great variety for breakfast. Lovely countryside. There was a family there with children and the children were free to roam and enjoy the property. Would recommend. "
"Very convenient location
Staff was friendly and helpful
Beautiful pool and facilities
Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone "

The valley of the temples is fascinating. Go early to beat the crowds and heat. Car parks at both ends of the area - be prepared for lots of walking.

We didn't have time to visit the old town, so I can only talk about the valle of the temples and the beach. The ruins are amazing!!!! It's unbelievable the Greeks were here !! We only went to the Scala de Turchi beach which is so beautiful!! Love it!

Less to see here than we anticipated. Valley of the Temples is not really an outstanding example of Grace-Roman remains, but worth seeing since one is there. Good place to visit other sites along the coast or Inland, such as Enna.

Small city. Not much to do except visit the Valley of the Temples. However, it was a quaint old city and very nice to walk around.

Driving up to Centro Storico was a nightmare. By the church, cars were parked in every direction making it difficult to navigate in and out of the narrow streets.

"The hotel is really cool, the building was 700 years old! It has lots of space for parking, very friendly stuff and a beautiful garden where you can have romantic dinner at. Food is also very good at the restaurant.
I highly highly recommend!"
"Agrigento it's a place you have to sleep,to visit the Temples area. It's the only reason. I loved the pizza Cori, that is located 400 meters at the left of the hotel."
"This was a last minute booking to stay in the area after seeing the temples. It is right next door and you can view the temples lit up from the patio and it is tranquil and beautiful. The accommodations are also very beautiful and very clean. Great AC. Very comfortable beds. The family that runs it is so welcoming and helpful too. Wish we could stay longer. Food was great as well."
