With so many tourists flocking to Agra, it is not surprising that the city has an assortment of international restaurants. Nevertheless, while in the city, tourists should not miss sampling some local delights. Petha is a candy-like snack, and Dal moth is a savoury lentil dish with added spices. Vendors also sell plenty of cheap food, including pan-fried potato cakes known as aloo tikki, and baked tandoor cottage cheese cubes called paneer tikka. There are many different shops in Agra which sell everything from Taj Mahal replicas to gorgeous jewellery. Sadar Bazaar is the best place in the city to buy cheap merchandise. Bargaining is a must as shop-owners are known to begin with ridiculously high prices. Electronics are available at Shah Market, and clothing is best purchased at Subhash Bazar, close to Agra Fort Railway Station.
