"We have had an absolutely wonderful stay here. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff has provided exceptional customer service. Everyone has been friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The apartments are modern, beautifully presented, and extremely well equipped with everything you could need. They are spotlessly clean, and it’s clear that the team takes great pride in maintaining the property to a very high standard. The daily housekeeping has been outstanding, keeping everything fresh and immaculate. The location is also perfect – just a one-minute walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, and everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Crete."

"I told my daughters to europe as a graduation present and our 1st stop at Athina Palace Resort and Spa was amazing. When we checked in after midnight, they had a light dinner and wine waiting for us. The staff was responsive, helpful, friendly and professional. The resort was clean and the food was delicious. My only small complaint is a more consistent schedule for the shuttle service around the resort. Other than that, everything was perfect!"

"Nice grounds and huge resort beautiful location. The hotel is in a need of a major upgrade and and complete refurbishment…get it back to previous quality from many years ago when it was one of the best resorts in Crete. I stayed in main building, hotel rooms old and worn. Some amazing views but this was the best of it. Bathrooms need upgraded Many villas/rooms not being used. Food was good but very repetitive and not much choice. Alacarte restaurants service was good but choice was limited and restricted. Drinks terrible unbranded and pre mixed cocktails. Paper cups used throughout resort. Private Beach is small pebbles Public beach is sand. I wouldn’t return unless a proper refurbishment was done. Overall a 3star hotel"

"The shower will more than likely semi-flood the bathroom because that is how Greek bathrooms are designed & that is why there is a second drain - just don’t keep anything on the floor near the shower/ toilet. It can be a bit noisy until the evening activity ends depending on where your room is. The spa staff & services are great & amazingly reasonably priced. Get the all inclusive deals if you are staying multiple days - totally worth it!"

Pela Mare Hotel

"We stayed at the Pela Mare Hotel for two nights, and it was a wonderful choice. We arrived late for check-in, and the manager, Giorgos, was waiting for us. He showed us to our room and even helped with our heavy luggage. The hotel is located on the hill. Our room had a beautiful sea view, and we spent our evenings on the balcony watching the lights of distant ships moving across the water, as well as the stunning changing colours of the sea and the charming coastal town. There are sandy clean beaches in the area. The hotel also provides a complimentary breakfast each morning. During our stay, we had many questions, and Giorgos kindly gave us useful recommendations about places to visit and even calculated the best time for us to leave for the airport. Giorgos naturally possesses excellent communication and hospitality skills, and it was always a pleasure to see his warm smile. Thank you, Giorgos — we will definitely return to the Pela Mare in the future."
